Help Stop Foreclosure Before Even More Children’s Favorite Teddy Bears Get Tossed Into The Dumpster!
Help stop foreclosure before it’s too late! For many families…with children…the damage is done! The dreaded “F” word has tossed many children out of their homes and into the streets. As a country, we are in BIG trouble as 285,000 homeowners per month continue to receive DEFAULT notices…285,000 per month!
And it gets worse…as painful as it is for me to report. 7.5 MILLION homeowners owe MORE than their homes are worth!
Warning: What you are about to see in the following video shows just how desperate people are today when faced with losing their homes. Can you imagine being forced out of your home with out so much as taking your children’s favorite stuffed animals? I can’t. When I saw a little child’s teddy bear in the video get tossed into a dumpster, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I know how much my own children cherish their stuffed “friends.”
“Foreclosure” is the new “F” word!
Just wait until you hear the rest of the story. Would you believe nationwide almost one out of every five homeowners (that’s 7.5 MILLION) with a mortgage owes more to their lender than their properties are worth!
THE UNBELIEVABLE REALITY
First American CoreLogic, a real estate data compan. estimates that a whopping 48% of all homeowners who own single family houses in Nevada are “under water,” meaning they owe more than their homes are worth. Home prices in Nevada have fallen approximately 36% since 2006.
Strangely, many Americans apparently live in denial. 49% of U.S. homeowners believe their home’s value has increased or stayed the same over the past year, according to Zillow’s Q3 Homeowner Confidence Survey.
I SEE the pain & suffering every day! I am a Sarasota (FL) Realtor and I am trying to negotiate a settlement with banks for families in a world of hurt and confused. I sell these houses and help families walk away with NO debt collectors chasing them for years.
Email me if you have any questions about a situation with a house. Even if you’re outside of Sarasota, I’ll try to help answer your questions or guide you to someone who can.
This is called a SHORT SALE, and it’s a much better alternative to foreclosure….much better.
For the past few years, the Inland Empire in Riverside County (CA) has been one of the fastest growing counties in the state – home to a major housing boom. But now the Inland Empire is pretty much the poster child for the foreclosure crisis. Key points for me from this disturbing video:
- One of the code enforcement guys sums up the problem in a single sentence – “You know you’re in trouble when the lawns are brown and the pools are green!”
- SoCal Connected tracked down some surreal sights associated with the crisis – a company that specializes in removing whatever people leave behind in their foreclosed homes. The process is called a “trashout” – a term the company came up with because it perfectly describes what happens. Everything that’s left is dumped in a trailer and taken to the landfill.
- Then there’s the guy who started a business to spray-paint dead lawns. That’s right. He paints brown lawns green. We also tag along with a couple of code enforcement officers who are spending more and more of their time having to drain slimy, abandoned pools.
- Finally, we meet a typical couple who bought their first home, thinking it was a great investment and tax write-off. Now the place is worth only half of what they paid for it and their neighborhood has almost as many vacant homes as occupied ones.
Every day, this is what I do…sitting at the kitchen table with good people who are besieged by this American Tragedy. They simply don’t know what’s going on….They have little hope for a better future, as I glance away to see their innocent children playing with toys nearby…definitely not oblivious to what’s going on.
Children know….. This is enough to bring tears to even the most hardened person. Unfortunately, I predict in Florida, California and many other states this tragedy will get much worse before it gets better.
Help Stop Foreclosure, Politicians! We little people need your help much more than the “fat cats” you have bailed out with our tax money.
